Say Goodbye to Odors in your Tupperware

  1. Wash tupperware well with soapy water & rinse (remember that cool water will 'close the pores' in the plastic). 
  2. After washing it, dry the container and seal thoroughly.
  3. Crumble up some newspaper, place it into the container, close it tight and stash it someplace for a couple of days.
  4. When you finally open the container to toss out the paper inside, you will find that the carbon in the newspaper has absorbed the stinky smell.

Herbed Chicken with Steamed Vegetables for 2

Steaming is one of the healthiest ways to prepare food because it retains nutrients, fatty acids and vitamins while preserving color, texture and flavor. The SmartSteamer blocks microwaves from cooking foods. Instead, microwaves are directed to the Water Tray, causing the water to boil and the steam to rise for perfectly steamed foods. The two-tiered system lets you steam one or two foods at once.

What you will need:

  • ½ cup fresh basil leaves 
  • 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 green onion 
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp. Italian parsley 
  • 1½ cups fat-free chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. capers, drained 
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 
  • ½ lb./225g green beans, trimmed
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled 
  • 1 red pepper, cored and cut into thick strips
What you will need to do:
  1. Place first eight ingredients in base of Chop ’N Prep™ Chef. Replace cover, twist to seal
  1. Pull cord 4–5 times to chop and combine ingredients. Remove blade and transfer sauce to a small bowl.
  1. Place chicken broth in Water Tray of Tupperware® SmartSteamer
  1. Place chicken in Steamer Base;season with salt and pepper and brush with sauce. 
  1. Place green beans and red pepper strips in Colander.
  1. Place the Steamer Base on top of the Water Tray and the Colander on top of the Steamer Base.
  1. Cover and microwave on high power 14 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165° F/75° C. 
  1. Transfer chicken to a serving platter and brush with sauce. Toss veggies with remaining sauce and serve.

12 minute cake


My Tupperware Stack Cooker arrived today, I was so thrilled. I already had dinner planned out for the evening so I was sad that I will have to wait until tomorrow to use it.
My husband texted me and let me know that he is going to take his college admission test today and was getting his student id card. Being a very proud wife I decided I could make him a cake.

So after running errands today all over Gig Harbor I came home and had dinner with my family. We cleaned up the table and I began to prepare our dessert in honor of my wonderful husband. I chose to make a Black Forest Cake this evening (there are so many options) with the stuff I grabbed at Target today. A box chocolate cake mix, a can cherry pie filling and three 3 eggs.

Place in bottom casserole dish with cone

Cook for 10-12 minutes in the microwave, uncovered

Immediately take out of pan and place it on a plate

Serve with leftover pie filling

Enjoy!

While cake was cooking in the microwave I washed out the one bowl and spoon that I used to prepare the cake. Once it was finished I placed the cooker in the sink that I had filled with water when cleaning the bowl.

Cake comes out steaming, however you can cut it right away. Will not fall apart.. Cake cools quickly once cut .. my husband says that he cannot believe it was microwaved, it is so very moist!

Cake will be stored in my Cake Taker for a few days.. if the cake lasts that long :)

Homemade Salsa with Tupperware Quick Chef Pro

It even comes with an airtight seal top so that I can store it in the fridge.

SIMPLY SALSA 
What you need:

  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend

Optional:
2-3 Tbsp. fresh cilantro


What you will need to do:

  1. Peel and slice onion into 4 pieces
  2. place in Quick Chef with blade, cover and turn handle until onion is roughly chopped. 
  3. Peel and smash two garlic cloves and add to Quick Chef.
  4. Add remaining ingredients; cover and turn handle until desired consistency. 
  5. Remove blade and place salsa in Snack Cups or a bowl for serving.
  6. Serve with chips or as a topping for tacos!

Quick Strawberry Ice Cream

what you will need:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

what you will need to do:
  1. Place all ingredients into the Quick Chef with blade attachment. 
  2. Cover and turn handle until strawberries (or other fresh or frozen fruits) and cream are blended and the mixture is the consistency of soft ice cream. 
  3. Place into Ice Prisms™ Small Bowls and serve immediately.

For best results, do not freeze after preparing.
