Caramel Corn

What you will need:
Serves 10
  • 2 bags microwave popcorn
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 cup light-brown sugar
  • ¼ cup light-corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 large paper bag
What you will need to do:
  1. Pop popcorn in the microwave per the directions on the bag. Pour into paper bag. Set aside.
  2. Combine margarine or butter, sugar and corn syrup in the 1¾-Qt.1.75 mL TupperWave® Casserole. Microwave on high power for 5 minutes, stirring half way through. Stir in the baking soda. Note: The mixture will foam.
  3. Pour mixture over the popcorn in the paper bag, close and shake. Place paper bag in the microwave on high power for 1 minute. Shake and then microwave again on high for one more minute.
  4. Spread out in a single layer on a cookie sheet or the Silicone Wonder® Mat until cool.
  5. Store in one of Tupperware’s airtight containers.
